Newbie

I'm new to all this and just wanted some insight. I have my final nutritionist appointment on the 31st. I was told after that i will be scheduled to meet with surgeon. I was just curious what goes on at that appointment and how long it typical takes after that to get in for surgery?

When I met with the surgeon, he basically described the surgery itself from beginning to end and that's about it. That was the last of my insurance-required visits pre-op. I met with the NP for most of that time, and the surgeon came in and talked to me at the end of the visit.

Good luck!

Oh okay! It's the last thing I have to do so I wasn't sure what that appointment included. How long did it take for your surgery after?

If I remember correctly, that appointment was August 10 and my surgery was scheduled for September 28. But that is all relative to your insurance and your doctor's availability.
