Nauseated by everything

Hello all, I am 5 weeks post op tomorrow. For the last week or so, I am getting nauseated by everything I put in my mouth outside of water. I am eating mainly soft foods. I get nauseated accompanied with a huge amount of air/gas coming up. Any advice?

Have you called your surgeon? Since it's new and not something you've been experience since surgery, I think it would be worth a call to your surgeon.

Good luck at your appointment. Hope all is well!

  • Yes I had it and it was caused by gastritis, they increased my anti-acids and everything has calmed down now. Best of luck. Sent from my HTC 10 using the BariatricPal App

Try to take in less food at one time, Even if you need to break your meal up into two meals. Use gas-x. Not everyone experiences it, but it's not uncommon.
