Hello all, I am 5 weeks post op tomorrow. For the last week or so, I am getting nauseated by everything I put in my mouth outside of water. I am eating mainly soft foods. I get nauseated accompanied with a huge amount of air/gas coming up. Any advice?

Have you called your surgeon? Since it's new and not something you've been experience since surgery, I think it would be worth a call to your surgeon.

Actually have an appointment today, was just curious if anyone else had expedience this.

Yes I had it and it was caused by gastritis, they increased my anti-acids and everything has calmed down now. Best of luck.

I had severe nausea starting at week 7 I think? It lasted for 6 straight weeks- I basically went back to Clear liquids phase- it was horrible. I was very down and my surgeon just said it will eventually pass but that it was very abnormal. It was miserable. But it did oass

I'm experiencing that right now. OMG it's miserable.

I'm 4 weeks post op and the air/gas is really bumming me out. What did your MD say?

Try to take in less food at one time, Even if you need to break your meal up into two meals. Use gas-x. Not everyone experiences it, but it's not uncommon.
