Work out question

Hey there. 2.5 months post op RNY. Tomorrow I start a boot camp work out program. I am trying to plan my food so that I have the energy I need. It's at 11 am so I think I can get two meals in. Anyone big into fitness. I am thinking of a shake and just before some eggs with cheese. And a shake after. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated.

  • You may want to add some carbs in if you are going to be doing an intense workout. Berries are a good choice maybe with your eggs and cheese.

Keep in mind that they're not written specifically for surgery people, but that doesn't mean you can't adapt as necessary.

I'll usually do a protein drink or milk and a quarter slice of whole grain toast with peanut butter or cheese before a workout. I'm always worried that if I eat an egg beforehand, I'll burp eggs during.
