My surgeon recommends 60 to 80 grams of Protein daily. Since you arent eating a lot, you should be consuming protein whether it is powder, liquid, pre made shakes. I use boost because the powder shakes make me sick, I also use Liquid Protein you mix with cold Water and I use mio drops to make it taste better..it almost tastes like kool aid lol. I am shocked your suregon didnt mention protein powder!

I've used collagen powder in Water for over a year that was suggested for better facial skin and continue to add to my water. costco also sells it in liquid strawberry-kiwi that you pour into a bottle of water which is pretty good tasting.
