Stick with your plan. If you can't do it now how will you do it later? I'm having my surgery Feb 9th. My plan allows 800 calories a day. No sugar or starch. It may be difficult but we can do this :)

Drink plenty of Water with it! Now that's what was suggested to me by my Nut... and no I haven't started yet but I'll have to remind my self too.

My surgeon said that if the liver doesnt shrink he would just do open instead of laparoscopic. So its not that bad. But I hope I can reach the size he wants, so far ive lost 16 pounds just with the liquid diet.

You really don't want open. It's an 8-10" scar versus 5 very small incision, a slower recovery, higher risk of infection, higher risk of hernias. Just follow your surgeon's instructions. Think of it as success training for the rest of your life. The phrase and thinking "it's not that bad" is a slippery slope!

16 pounds is awesome. Keep going!

Withdrawals are so understandable. I've said it before, doing this over the holidays makes you a total superhero!
