Kinda Freaking out...

Hello everyone,

I've had a week of good news but I am worried something might bring me down to earth. This week I got my approval letter for VSG on January 9th...

My wife and I are going to our pre-surgery class on Wednesday...

But...now I am worried that I have developed a hernia to left of my navel. The last few years it's looked like the left of it was pushing in a bit but never any weird feelings or pain. Sunday morning I woke up and it feels like a golfball that shifts to left if move weird.

Can this be something that jeopardizes my timeline? I am freaking out that something like this could happen so fast and so close to my surgery date.

Has anyone else experienced something like this.

Thanks,

Patrick

A hernia could be fixed at the same time as your bariatric surgery.

I also had my hernia repair time of surgery, I'm sure your doctor can fix it time of your surgery.

Good luck to you
