My surgery date is booked for 24th in Belguim.... I'm so excited... woohoo

I'm being banded tomorrow too. I am excited, but also so nervous. I'm a little nervous about the surgery, but mostly I'm thinking and worring about how I will feel after surgery. I hope I will be able to do well with all the diet stuff. I just having normal pre-surgery worries I'm sure. I've been lurking for a while, but I'm now finally posting. I was banded on October 2, 2007.

Evening October Banders,

I was banded on 10/19 and everything went great!! I'm so thrilled with my doctor and everyone that helped me through surgery. The first 2 days for me were really rough, but now on day 6 I'm doing MUCH BETTER. Would love to be able to move on to mushies and such, but my doctor has a 2 week post op liquid diet. It's murder, shake, broth, applesauce, Jello, popsicle, shake, broth, applesauce, jello, popsicle, shake, broth... I want something different!!! The band is one of the greatest things in my life so far and I'm so glad I got it. I look forward to losing more weight and being able to have children.

Hi, I was banded October 8th. I am soooo glad I did this. Some problems in the beginning, but I am getting used to it. Losing is worth it.
