Doctor Check-up

Has anyone in the D/FW area heard of or been seen by Dr. Nirmal Jayaseelan? I'm thinking of having my lapband done by him but would like to get some input from patients he's seen. Thanks!

I've not met him personally, but I've talked to quite a few of his patients via these message boards. I've never heard anything bad about him at all, in fact, most of his patients rave about him. I do believe I've heard mentioned that his office is very busy and sometimes it takes awhile to get appointments. I also know he doesn't take all insurances or take patients who've been banded elsewhere for fills.

Not sure that helps any, but I know we have some folks who know him lurking about, maybe they'll have something to add. :) Welcome!!

I just got banded by him on December 17. He was extremely nice, but busy. He makes it all seem so matter-of-fact. It was something I appreciated.

Whoops - first time to use this, hope it goes through. Regarding Dr. Jayaseelan, I just got banded by him on December 17. He is very nice, but busy. He made it all seem so matter-of-fact, which was something I really appreciated.
