  1. So I've finally reached the point that I've lost enough (145 lbs.) to start thinking about plastic surgery and I've decided to go with Dr. Godat at Medical City in Dallas. Is anyone familiar with him? I've had my first consult with him and feel confident with him, I just thought a few more opinions wouldn't hurt! Also, I'm scheduled for a TT and brachioplasty with lipo on my chin. Does anybody have some arm lift photos I could take a look at? I know the scarring is terrible, but I figure it's better than being able to jump off a building and take flight with my batwings. My surgery isn't until July 20, but I want to see as many examples and learn as much as I can between now and then so I don't have any false expectations. I'm not so concerned with the TT or chin, but I want my arms to look as normal as possible! Thanks for any input!
  2. Has anyone in the D/FW area heard of or been seen by Dr. Nirmal Jayaseelan? I'm thinking of having my lapband done by him but would like to get some input from patients he's seen. Thanks!
  3. Hi everyone, I just stumbled upon this site while researching the lap band. I'm really excited about the possibility of a "new me." Any negative things I should know about the procedure? So far what good things I hear far outweigh the bad. By the way, I'm in Ft. Worth...if y'all ever have a get together look me up!
