Venting here! I had me surgery 9/20/16 HW:240 SW:226 CW:204.6 and I have been working hard to follow the rules. I feel I'm strong and with the sleeve in place I would say I'm doing good. I'm a slow loser but that's ok. With that being said a young lady that I know had the sleeve about a month before me. She eats everything. chips, bread and all. She says she is done losing weight and she is trying not to lose anymore. It really bugs me when if I don't drink enough Water my weight is stalling. How many people are losing too much weight?

Just watch the person who you know. Their weight will return because "their sleeve didn't work". They are making crappy choices while you're doing it right and have learned how to eat. Congrats to you

  • I'm in the process of figuring out how much to eat so I don't lose any more....I would never think about eating chips or bread though. It's not healthy to compare ourselves to anyone else... there'

  • I'm eating pretty clean. Protein, veggies. No bread, rice or Pasta. Drink at least 65 ouces of Water, no pop. Pop stretches your stomach. I haven't started raw veggies and salad yet. I pretty much eat

She had surgery a month ahead of you, so three months ago if I'm reading correctly. And she says she's lost all the weight she wants/needs to lose? Wow! That seems crazy to me. Good for her, I guess. However, I am like almost everyone else who replied and feel she may be in for an unpleasant surprise in a few months.

Keep up your good work and you will reap the rewards!

Hi sleeve twin...I was the 20th September too :)

It's not about the losses just now, but a year and a half down the line she will start to regain the weight while you, with your changed habits will keep it off.

Keep that in mind when she 'shows off' about eating all the crap that got her fat first time round...it will do the same again, she just doesn't realise it yet.

I am having MASSIVE stalls, but losing inches. Dig out your tape measure! Xx
