Ostrim

Okay talk to me! Tried one I bought at the store and this is my new favorite snack!

But went to order some in bulk (save some $$) and I'm overwhelmed! So many flavors and types. What do you love?

I love most of them but I will say that the elk-beef habanero and elk-beef sweet & spicy are my favorites. I tend to find the applewood turkey too salty.

They recently started making a buffalo chicken stick and it tastes delicious but the texture is really bizarre and off-putting. It's hard to describe how weird it is. I am not someone who is picky about food or food textures -- really, I am not -- but I bought a box of these, ate one, and the rest of the box has been setting in my pantry for a couple of months. I can't bring myself to eat another.

I like the taste, but the texture is not my favorite. I was hoping for more of a jerky feel, and these are much softer. like a very fine ground meat texture.

I see there are the round sticks (like a slim Jim) and the "slabs" that are more like thick jerky. Are the textures better on one than the other? I had the habanero slim Jim type (elk-beef) and that was the one I really liked!

Thanks for your input!
