2nd fill.. not a pleasent experience.

Had my 2nd fill today.. now at 5cc. The doctor who did my fill however didn't know what the hell she was doing. I asked for numbing medication and she said "you should've asked me that before we came to xray, it's in the other building". So there she goes poking and proding and she hits a vein.. so blood shoots everywhere, I'm crying like a baby because of the pain. It was awful. Finally they page my surgeon and he brings me the numb stuff thank god.. and after that smooth sailing.

Now, I feel so much restriction, which is a good thing... but I get mad hiccups when i eat.. anyone else get that?

This past fill (4th) -- I have been getting the hiccups when I am full!

Sorry to hear about your BAD fill experience.

Okay, good to know I'm not the only one lol

They dont last long like normal hiccups but it's still irritating.

Those hiccups may be your new full signal.

Try to eat as slowly as possible, chewing very well and see when the hiccups start.

Wow....that is awful....I had no pain at all with my fill....and the doctor didn't use anything.....felt like a shot...that is all. Does it normally hurt? I didn't realize that.....sorry....good luck to you!

My first fill was a piece of cake. My 2nd and 3rd (and attempted 4th) were pretty bad.. They had to stick me up to 13 times each time.. and at first the needles don't hurt, but slowly it starts bruising, and then the needles start to hurt. And the worst pain IMO, is when they push on my port with their hands. That is very painful to me..

My port was tilted, which is why they had to poke so much.. my first fill, it only took 1 stick and it was over with (no numbing).
