Heartburn!

I had my gastric sleeve on November 8th. It has been rough, to say the least! The heart burn is horrible!! Plus my insides are constantly gurgling. Anyone dealing with this? Advice?

Are you on a PPI like protonix?? My surgeon puts all patients on one for 30 days at tge least automatically..

You might want to ask for one

Nov 9th for me and Gurgling is annoying more so painful..taste buds off too..have peilosec on stand by but haven't needed it yet..try to space out Protein shake (can only do 6 oz )ughhh in between both , sugar free Popsicle n sips of Water has helped the gurgling soon..

Hello, I am two days post op and gas and heartburn are my biggest issues, especially when I am in bed. Just filled my prescriptions and the heartburn medication works well on these issues
