Taking online classes while waiting for sergury date.

I just started my weight loss journey .i am almost done with all of my pre op test which should be finishing within the next couple of months. If everything goes well I will be having my sergury in March or April. My online class starts in

January for 16wk . I am wondering if I should take the class or wait until next semester which starts in June?

Any advice.

I'm getting a mostly online MBA and had no trouble. Do some work before surgery to be ahead. Day 3 or 4 I needed something to do, and school work was easy to do in bed. I wouldn't be too concerned.

I would take it. If you don't have complications, you should have no problems. If you do have complications, talk to your professor immediately so it won't affect your grades.

I had a baby in grad school, and she needed surgeries and additional care. These were not online classes, so I did miss some lectures and had to postpone the finals one semester because of surgery, but I worked really hard and managed a 4.0 throughout the program.

Good luck!
