Protein powders

I am having a really hard time finding a protein powder I like. I am very picky because I don't like the chalky part of protein powder and I don't like the cardboard taste. Does anyone have any recommendations? And where to find them?

I could not handle the premiere Protein shakes. They upset my stomach immediately. So I went through several powders and ready made shakes to try to find one I liked and didn't make me ill. I've ended up using Unjury's powder. I have strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate. There are tons of fun flavorful recipes on Pinterest. I use Fairlife fat free milk because it has 12 grams of protein in one cup. My favorite recipe right now is a cup of milk, vanilla powder, and pumpkin spice extract with a little stevia. Tastes like fall but more importantly, it doesn't taste like powder. I have also really liked Isopure's Unflavored Pure whey Protein. I've mixed that in Gatorade Zero, Jello mix, and even Peanut Butter. You really cannot taste it. All of these I ordered through Amazon or purchased at my doctors office.

It's really frustrating trying to find one because you want to get protein in. Just keep trying and don't give up.

Thank you so much. I will keep trying but they get so expensive and I'm a single mom living on assistance going to school full time so money is real tight. I will keep plugging away and hope I find one that I like and can stick with.

Keep your receipt and take them back if you don't like them. I'm in Canada, but never had issues taking them back after trying one shake and not liking. They are expensive and you shouldn't have to keep it if you don't like it. Also, some places have samples that can be bought before buying in large quantity. Hope that helps. Good luck :)

There is a website called bariatriceating.com I bought some Protein powder from them and it was DELISH! it's a tad on the pricey side, but honestly, I have never bought such a smooth and easy mixing powder. I mixed it with Almond Milk (you can do Water if you want) and literally just stirred it with a spoon and it COMPLETELY dissolved. The Pumpkin Pie flavor was AMAZING.

I think that protein powder will be part of my life forever. 20 gr of protein, zero fat, zero carbs in a small volume? Turns a glass of v8 juice into a protein drink? It's amazing.
