Bloody spit

I have blood coming up when I spit out phlem from my throat. I am not sure what this is being caused from but ofcourse it isnt a good sign. I did start a new medication maybe its irritated my throat so much it made it bloody??? Or am I grasping at straws here could it be something more serious like slippage. But wouldnt I have other symptoms. I have had a soar throat for a few days but I started the med a few days ago and it seems like people are sick around here also. Should I wait to see if it goes away? Any suggestions at all would be appriciated

The blood really isnt coming from my throat after all its coming from my nose and dripping into my throat. Turns out the new medication i am taking has me so dried out inside everything is cracked and bleeding. Yuck. BUT thats a good thing at least it has nothing to do with my band. My throat is really soar but thats from all the old blood dripping back down my throat. Sounds gross but its not that big of a deal alot more water will clear the problem up. Plus I have a bit of a soar throat. Thought I would keep ya posted in case anyone wondered. Later....

Gummi-

If your nose is really dried out to the medication, use a Q-tip to rub vasaline around the INSIDE of your nose. It sounds wonky, and feels kind of icky but it really does work. I had to do that when I was on accutane as a teenager.
