Banded plication set to be revised soon

I am getting the lap band with the plication undone in about a week. They had me go for testing and everything came back okay. The doctor said he is going to undo everything because there was something called a prolapse or a dilation of the pouch. Anyone know what I would expect when this is undone? I had really bad stomach pain but I did lose a ton of weight. Just some questions: Will my hunger come back? Will I have any type of restriction still? The doctor said he is going to fix everything because I don't believe I needed the surgery completely anyway.
