I miss water

Hello all! So happy I came upon this app! Have felt very lost and uninformed. I am 37. I'm about 5wks post op from gss. I am down 36 pounds. my biggest issue right now is I stay very thirsty. For Water specifically. I eat ice chips a lot. Does this get easier?

If my Water is not almost frozen I can't drink it- so weird. I was so thirsty at that time too- was drinking way way over 64 oz - now I can't even get in 20 currently. Great luck to you! Great suggest

  • Amyreborn I tried a lot of different one. I can old drink Premier Protein. I bought the Atkins orange. It was ok

@amyreborn. I still drink protein shakes even at almost two years post op. I don't drink them everyday, but they are great when I need some high protein and I am in a hurry. I also will occasionally do a day or two of all protein shakes and then a no carb high protein dinner. This will help me drop a few pounds and keeps my weight at goal.

My favorite brand is the Inspire protein powder. The flavors are mild and they don't have that nasty "protein" aftertaste. I will also drink premier protein and the caramel ones are my fave.
