Complicaions

I've been having great progress since my surgery in May, but I'm my last bloodwork they discovered that I'm now showing signs that suggest Hypoparathyroidism, they told me to take some calcium. Which I have begun, their only other instructions were that they would monitor it and keep an eye on that. Just wondering if its something to be concerned about, or am i blowing it out of proportion?

Nothing wrong with doing some research and asking your doctor to clarify anything that you may not understand. It's the responsible thing to do.

How is wanting to know the meaning of a diagnosis the same as "blowing it out of proportion?"
