62

I turned 62 in August and had the sleeve on September 29. I have multiple health problems including MS. So far, so good. Beginning the 1st week in September when I started my pre-op diet I have lost 26 lbs.

I have just joined and are beginning this journey. All i have done is go to a bariatric seminar. I couldn't find a doctor willing to take medicare. I appreciate all the encouraging posts. Twenty years ago my doctor strongly suggested weight loss surgery. I "chickened" out at the last minute. Now I am 68 years old, 60 lbs heavier and have many additional health issues.

I am in pain, use oxygen, and cant do anything.

I'm excited to start this journey!
