I'm wondering how folks take their pain medications post surgery. I have a pretty sensitive stomach, have a really hard time even tolerating Advil. When I've taken narcotic painkillers (like Percocet or Vicodin) unless I take them with a big meal, I'm double overhead with stomach pain that radiates into my back an hour or too later. Is there any option for pain meds that aren't taken by mouth post surgery available? I'm specifically referring to once you leave the hospital. Thanks.
