Fingers Crossed!

So after struggling for more than 25 years with my weight I've finally gotten up the nerve to have the surgery. I am nervous to say the least, I am not only nervous about the surgery but I'm nervous about being approved for it. I'm very thankful that my insurance covers all but 10% . I have my first appointment October 5th to see my primary care doctor, I started a low carb high Protein diet a few months ago and have not had good results at all, I think that at 46 my metabolism has run away to join the circus! I eat healthy , I control my portions and I work out daily. So I'm at a loss, well non-loss actually . Anyone else out there have the same concerns and issues??
