Incision Scars

Does anyone remember how long it took for your incision scars to fade? I'm almost 8 weeks post op and mine as still super noticeable. Granted, I'm really pale so I'm sure that doesn't help but I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever go

away. Color wise, they look almost the same as they did right after surgery, of course without the pain and swelling. :)

When I got my lap band in 2009, it began fading at about 1.5 months and continued to fade for another year, basically till invisible. I read they continue to fade for about 2 years and after that, it stops.

The incisions from my sleeve seem much larger with staple scars /cry but I just bought some mederma advanced, and I'll start using that. (If anyone has another product they swear by, please share :D)
