Incision pain

So I had RNY on Tuesday and I have to say I feel way better than I thought I would with the exception of my one bigger incision that my surgeon said was where the stapler went in. It's painful when I move too quickly and it's still leaking a little bit of blood every now and then. I've been trying to sleep on my back to avoid aggravating it but I always end up on my side so I'm probably not helping it. I know I'm not supposed to put neosporin or anything like that on it but any ideas to help it heal a little faster?

Well it's been over a year for me but I think I was still wearing the steri strips and gauze at that point. I'd check with your doctor about what you can apply to it over the counter.

Hold a pillow On your stomach/pouch and press lightly on it. It helps when turning in bed. It will all be worth it. Have a great

Day. ????
