Starving

I was banded Aug. 15 and I am starving! I ate an entire can of tomatoe soup for lunch and fear this behavior can be harmful. Is cream soup counted in the liquids I need for the day? Three oz of food is just not enough. I get all of my protein in, but still hungry. My stomach makes horrible noises. I also drink a lot of water 1 hour after eating. I tried ground tuna fish and chicken and it made my stomach hurt. When will this pass?:help:

JP,

should you be on mushy / solids now? if not, please PLEASE recondsider going back to liquids only until your doctor gives their OK. that may be why it hurt.

you are in what is known as bandster hell. do a search on it and you will find several posts.

this will pass.

good luck.

Losingjusme,

I am on the mussie stage, but my list said I can have fish or chicken if purred. Tonight I think I will go back to scrambled eggs and Cot. cheese. Yes to the bandster hell. I am starving.

Thanks,

JP

ok - each surgeon is different, i just didnt want to encourage you to eat out of your 'stage'

if you had pain, you may want to do liquids for 24 hours (i do after i have pain and PB). make sure it is reallllllly pureed and maybe add some chicken stock to it to make it more moist.

or mayo w/ tuna. remember keep your Protein up. if you are unsure how much protein you should be eating, contact your surgeon's office.

good luck.
