So I've been thru all my preop appts and my surgeon visit is on Wed the 31st..i can't wait.. At that time he will access me and decide if I'm a candidate or not and then if so.. I get a date pending ins approval. My only concern is I gained weight since my seminar back in May.. But several factors do come into play.. I gave up nicotine and I have been on steroids twice for a horrible upper respitory thing that finally cleared up.. My nutritionist has comforted me by letting me know things are documented and I will be fine.. But I still worry! But the only thing is now I'm at over 40 bmi so I need no comorbities.. Anyone have any advice??

Wait on your doctor. All the setbacks you've had from being sick can contribute. Don't stress about it until you've met with your surgeon. Hope it all works out!
