Struggling

Hello everyone! I am about 4 months into my 6 month supervised diet for vsg. I have only lost 6 pounds and need to lose a total of 15. I am eating low carb, drinking Water and getting in exercise here and there. Any advice? My nutritionist gave me a lay out of what I should be eating and I know I can follow it. Just nervous I won't lose the weight in time! Any advice would be great!

Thank you! My husband has good intentions but he struggles. He can lose weight with no problem and has never been significantly overweight. He is learning along with me but sometimes I have to be like..dude..back up! I explained to him that my weight is not like the average person who needs to lose 10 pounds to get bikini ready. I have 100+ pounds to lose to get healthy! Thank you again for your support!

Thank you as well! And exactly! It's twice as hard for women to lose weight than it is for a man. The reason is because they have faster metabolisms, more skeletal muscle, and overall bigger organs. Each pound of muscle burns 6 calories. It's like, a man can eat a huge piece of cake and gain nothing. Yet, a woman can taste icing and gain a pound, lol! So unfair!
