I was just wondering if anyone has gone into surgery with a UTI I feel like I have one or might be gas idk... Pain in my lower right side above my private part....

My mother suffered from Urinary Tract Infections all the time. You could always tell when she had this infections because she became weak on her feet which could lead to a fall. She was also confused and incoherent. Generally she had to take antibiotics for a week or two to get rid of it. She developed a strain that was antibiotic resistant and had to take a cocktail of several antibiotics at once.

I had UTI when I went in for my hysterectomy and my urologist said to tell that surgeon to give me IV antibiotics to prevent it from getting worse. My UTI was very mild at the time though (i.e. no fever, not a kidney infection). You need to check it out and call your surgeon.

I don't have pain peeing or feel the need to pee... Could I be passing a kidney stone?
