Hello everyone. I am so excited and shocked that my decision was so fast! My last weigh in was Tuesday 8/2 and today I recieved a call from my surgeons office saying that my insurance company (healthfirst) has approved the surgery!

I am beyond ready and anxious!!! My surgery is on Monday 8/15

Started my liquid diet on 7/31 and at first it was hard but now I'm like hello premier I love you lol!

This app has helped me out so much I have been reading lots and I hope everyone that is in the waiting game with insurance gets a response quickly! Positive vibes to all!

Congratulations! That is such great news, and you are just one week away from your surgery date! Really excited for you! Which surgery are you having, and where?

I am still waiting on approval, I have RNY on August 18th at Duke.

I am having the sleeve done and with Dr.Andrade at South Shore (St.Johns) in Queens,NY.

No I haven't started I was so afraid of not getting approved but I will start that this week!
