I am 3 years post-op RNY gastric bypass. I had episodes of severe acid reflux (GERD) prior to surgery but none since.

    Depends. Apparently with sleeve, it can get much worse - thus the reason I had bypass (as recommended by my surgeon); however, there are a lot of sleevers who do not have the issue. At 14 months post-op, I do still struggle with it some.
