Yes it's normal.....but don't be surprised if before the two weeks is up you end up with constipation.....Just stick to your plan and drink plenty of Fluid. good luck on your upcoming surgery.

I am on day 5 of my pre-op liquids and I am having loose stools.

Is that due to all of the liquid I am taking in?

Absolutely; especially if you're drinking Protein shakes. They go right through you!
