IVCR (Filter) removal

Did anyone on here have to have the filter inserted before surgery? I had mine put in a few days before surgery and tomorrow is the day it's scheduled to come out. They kind of put me half under when they inserted it (because I drove myself) so I was cold (to say the least) when I was on that table and they were sliding it in. Ouch!

Tomorrow they are knocking me out completely for the removal - thankfully. I'm told it's a fairy quick procedure. Home in a few hours when it's all said and done hopefully.

Has anyone else gone through the filter process?

Thanks
