Thirst

I'm in the process of getting approved for VSG and am researching every possible thing I can think of. One thing I'm wondering is how is your thirst? I know you can only sip a little amount of Water every few minutes but I worry about being very very thirsty. I imagine it would be like it is when you have a tummy bug and vomit a lot.

Thanks!!

I am five days out (sleeved on Monday 7/18). The first few days were really tough. Wednesday I only got about 26 oz liquid because swallowing was tough. Yesterday was better, got 40 oz and today can take larger sips and am on track to do better. I will say the first days sipping is literally a full time job but it won't be that way forever. Not really thirsty at all.
