I know exactly which surgeon I want to do my surgery. I know 5 people have been to this particular surgeon. I feel very comfortable with the surgeon but I was not happy with his coordinator. When speaking to one of my friends I found out that they are a coordinator for that surgeon as well. It has been a completely refreshing experience to deal with the person that is my friend. It does make me wonder however how much business has been lost for this surgeon over the years by this coordinator and her lack of communication.

^{I know the feeling. The hospital I want to go to called me yesterday and told me that my insurance does not have Bariatric coverage. I told her, "That's funny, my co-worker just had her gastric sleeve at your facility on July 9th and we have the same insurance!" I called my insurance myself and confirmed that they do cover Bariatric services. So that makes me wonder not only how much business they've lost, but how many poor people have been told NO when they really are covered.}
