Lyme disease and wls

My husband and I went on a camping trip several weeks ago. I was unfortunate enough to contract lyme disease and fortunate enough to have caught it early enough to hope for a full recovery. Does anyone have any information about lyme disease and wls? I am pre op hoping to get approved and have surgery this fall.

I've been vaccinated against lyme disease. Boosters included--not pleasant. :(

Sorry to hear that you actually got Lyme.

My bariatric team took note of it when I had my WLS --2011.

I never heard of anything more about it--effecting anything concerning WLS.

Please post if you hear anything pro or con.

I can go ahead with the surgery despite the Lyme disease

Great news! Please post often and let me know how you're doing.

I'm nosy, yes, but I really care too! :)
