I got mine on July 1 had a few complications and after speaking with the ICU nurses I was a rare case. I lost blood and Water unfortunately the staff on the floor were clueless to what I needed kept asking me why I was sleeping and could not get up . Like I am suppose to know.
Finally 2 AM (my surgery was at 9 AM) they figured out i needed water so they gave me 500 CC of water wow that helped could not tell my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth and my lips so chapped.
Then my blood count was not coming up. So transfer to ICU and got a blood transfer 1 pint the following night another 2 pints and a scan to make sure the bleed had stopped. A one day stay ended up being 5 days for me. I am now home I am living on Popsicles and taking the meds.
I am slow at getting around but I am sure after what my body has been through that is ok. I'll take my time.
