Hi everyone. First day of liquid diet for me, surgery is Wed. What did you take to hospital that you highly recommend I bring? I have chap stick, gas x, cell charger and extension cord. I'll keep a pillow in my car. Anything else?

That's all you really need. They don't have you change or put shoes on. I lift my pillow in the car too. They have the lotion and stuff there. Don't let on that you have the gas x strips though. They don't want you to have them because they want you to pass the gas. But my thought is...that pain is kinda worse than I like and I'm not waiting. Lol .

Christmas was fabulous even though I didn't get to eat. The family kept saying I could get a plate of everything and lick it all. Lol. It was a good light hearted running joke all night. How was everyone else's Christmas?

Dr. Glascock is awesome so I know you will do fine. Everyone at the hospital is great!

I found this prayer in my paperwork and welcome cards. So I am saying this prayer for you and Patty.
