Approved, Surgery Date, 2 more tests?

Hello everyone please help I'm new to the process. I am approved for revision surgery (band to sleeve), I have my date but 3-weeks before my surgery I'm scheduled to have a gallbladder ultrasound, then three days later an endoscopy. I've done all preliminary blood test and psych evaluation. What could this be for from your experiences?

  • I have to do this pre surgery too. They told me its so that if I need my gall bladder removed or if I have a hiatal hernia, they can plan to remove/ repair when the sleeve is done.
