Hi! - First Post

Hi! I got my first lap band November 2006, and my second June 2013. I am scheduled to have it removed July 7, 2016, and then I'll get the sleeve in like two months. I'm actually feeling better about this decision by reading others' experiences with the lap band.

Please check out my YouTube channel called MaryRevised to follow my progress: www.youtube.com/madredesenorb

I would really appreciate any supportive comments, tips, and suggestions for video topics.

Great choice! I'm so thrilled with the results... no more energy spent on losing weight. Besides being low risk, it removes most of the cells that create the hunger hormone. I concentrate on eat

I concentrate on eating mostly protein-rich foods so I can get my 60 grams in, but aside from that, I can eat what I want. Best of all, I don't have diabetes and sleep apnea anymore; I'm not worried about having a heart attack or stroke. I wish I had done it sooner!
