Hello! I am trying to get prepared ahead of my surgery date and make sure what I should pack in my bag? Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance! :)

Clean underwear to wear home (I wore the clothes that I wore to the hospital home).

Chapstick

Biotene spray

A pillow for the ride home

Phone/charger. My mom went to the hospital with me so I gave her my phone with strict instructions not to give it back to me until I was no longer loopy. She used it to keep my friends in the loop via text since a few wanted updates.

A hot pad.

The best thing I took was my mom!

As little as possible. I took my charger for iPhone/iPad, clean pair of undies, and socks.

I mostly went minimalist. Brought a clean set of clothes, phone charger and a handheld game console. Didn't really need anything else.

Thank you all very much. ????

Wipies! Trust me. You want these. I brought lavender moisturizing ones, and they honestly felt like heaven.

For me it's slippers, face wash kit, lip balm, lotion, charger, Kindle, undies, change of clothes and a Korean face mask to scare the nurses with lol

Lol thank you all????

Here is my list so far:

MEDS
CHAPSTICK
UNDERWEAR
ROBE
TOOTHBRUSH/ PASTE
hair TIE
MAGAZINE/ crossword puzzle and pencil
BOOK
SMALL BLANKET FOR RIDE HOME and pillow
Biotene mouthwash.
back scratcher
Eye mask,/ earplugs

You won't use much but it sure is nice to have it in case you need it! All good ideas here. Here are some things I had it WISH I had when I was there: chapstick, phone charger, Gas-X strips, Biotene, hair tie / headband, heating pad and ear plugs.
