It's been a while since I've been on this, my favourite site. Just wanted to say hello to everyone. It's been a very eventful few weeks. My Dad had a "mini-stroke", congestive heart failure, and both he and my mom have pneumonia. So I have been a busy and dutiful daughter. Trying hard to stay with the programme, and get my first fill on Monday, August 20. I'm nervous and excited about this, but wonder how I will know what my Sweet Spot is. I know that if I can't hold down solids or fluids, I am too tight, but how to know if I'm not tight enough?
I'm on solids now for the past two weeks, and doing okay, although I probably could be going for more variety, and am still having soup and/or those small cans of flavoured tuna for lunch and also, sometimes, for dinner. Am avoiding junk food, bread and carbonated beverages. I just need more variety and imagination, I guess.
I am losing weight- about 46 lbs from my high of 232 lbs. , so I guess I should be happy. But I'm worried I may not be eating enough, and enough variety, to get proper nutrition . What are people eating????????:rolleyes:rolleyes:rolleyes
