Surgery June 9!

I am scheduled to have my surgery on June 9. I was not nervous at all until today! I'm now extremely nervous. All these questions are running through my mind and the thought that I am crazy has passed through as well! I have two little children, a three year old and a ninth month old. What am I thinking?? How am I possibly going to do this?? Anyone go through anxiety right before surgery?

Thank you all for your support. I just got home ( I had my surgery in Mexico) and everything so smooth. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I am scheduled for June 9th too and am starting to have a bit of anxiety. I have a little one too, he is 6 years old.

I think some anxiety is normal, but remember all the reasons why you need to have this surgery, starting with a healthy future for you and your kids. Best of luck!

I think anxiety is normal!! But you do have to think about the benefits and how much healthier you'll be for your little ones! Best of luck!!

That's great! How long were you in the hospital and what was the most uncomfortable part?

I was in the hospital for 2 days. Really the most uncomfortable part for me has been the gas from the surgery that is just sitting in my chest. It makes things very uncomfortable. I have recuperated amazingly well and would recommend the surgery to anyone!
