I start my 2 wk pre op diet tomorrow

I have a date of June 20th and my preop diet starts tomorrow. I see a lot are on liquid diets for 2 wks I guess there are a lot of different diets, because I only do liquid diet the day before my surgery. As of right now I can eat eggs, all the meat I want as long as it's not fried or breaded and veggies. I can't have sugars, milk and dressing except for oil and vinegar. So I guess it's up to the surgeon.

It definitely seems to vary per surgeon but also per patient. I did have a liquid diet for 2 weeks pre-op (and 2 weeks post) but in the pre-op stage I could have a very limited amount of Protein and vegetables each day except for the day before surgery which was strictly Clear liquids. Much luck to you!

Every doctor is so different. I am working out twice per day and trying to finish up eating all my veggies and fruits that I purchased last week. I am glad that every doctor is different.
