Enlarged heart

I had to get cardiac clearance (due to borderline EKG) for my upcoming lapband to bypass revision. The echocardiagram showed an enlarged heart. The cardiologist explain that a number under 55 is considered a normal heart size and my number was 56, so it is only slightly enlarged. Has anyone had experience with this? Did losing weight reverse the enlargement?

Do you have heart issues and see a cardiologist? High blood pressure, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease? This could be the beginning of CHF, or congestive heart failure.

No history of any heart issues, blood pressure and resting heart rate are great, everything is great except heart is slightly larger than normal range.
