Consultation Done

Just had my consultation on Thursday, May 12. Psych and nutritionist visit on June 1. EDG on June 6. Still have to find a PCP who will do labs and recommend the surgery, but this is happening very FAST. The thought of the EDG freaks me out. Like I almost had a panic attack talking about it with the coordinator. Someone please tell me it's not as awful as it sounds. [emoji15]

EGD was a piece of [emoji513]!

Psych and NUT visit were fine as well. Psych recommended I see a specialist for treatment of PTSD, but still approved me for surgery [emoji4]. I was previously told by a psych that I had symptoms of PTSD and I didn't follow through with treatment. Going to do everything needed to be successful so I'll be calling in Monday for an appt with a trauma specialist. Surgery date is July 27. Cleaning out my pantry (and closet/house). I have a few restaurants picked out that I want to go to before my liquid diet starts on July 13. This is happening VERY quickly!

Saw my PCP on Tuesday. EKG done, and blood work done. Just waiting on PCP to review results and send clearance to surgeon. I've always been relatively healthy (no comorbidity), so I'm hoping nothing has changed in the last couple of years since my last blood panel [emoji256][emoji256][emoji256][emoji256][emoji256][emoji256][emoji256]
