It's definitely important to get up and walk every hour or two, eve if it's only a couple of minutes at a time. You don't need to be doing any crazy level of physical activity at this point.

you're doing just fine. at one week out I was walking 10-15 minutes every hour that I was awake, but VERY slowly. it helped me a lot to get up and move. Water, and Protein is all that you need

@sherryk. One thing to consider if you are extremely tired is your blood pressure. If you are on meds for hypertension, they often need adjusting after WLS.

I'm one week post-op and only walk about 20 minutes a day. I get tired so fast. But at least I'm doing something, right? I do break it up. I get all my Protein and Water in. I'm hoping when I'm allowed to start my Vitamins I will regain my energy.
