Surgery tomorrow and I'm terrified

Ok so my surgery is tomorrow and I'm terrified. Scared of dying.. Scared of not waking up again. I know most surgeries are a success but I can't help but feel frightened..

      Don't panic. This surgery is incredibly safe as far as surgeries go. And if you don't wake up from it, you'll never know, so what's to worry about there?

    Thanks all. I had a very bad effect to the blood thinning medication a received prior to surgery. It's given routinely to avoid blood clots. But with me it cause major internal bleeding.
