stomach pain

Hi,

I had nachos last night at a ballgame--had a few jalapenos. A few hours later my stomach really hurt. Still hurts this morning. Think it's because it took the jalapenos a while to pass through the band? Seems like my Protein bar even irritated my stomach today. I've taken a few rolaids and it IS better. Any thing out there that you all avoid like that?

@@grammy4 how long have you been banded?

I would say yes that the jalapenos could have irritated your stomach and even caused a bit of swelling internally. Give yourself a little recovery time, have a shake or two and let things settle down.

I also have a difficult time with spicy foods , salsa and such. It just seems to irritate my band and stomach, so I avoid them.

Thank goodness I was never much for spicy before the band!

Hope your stomach has settled down and you don't suffer consequences on the other end.
