How long does it usually take from first consultation to surgery date?

If you don't need a lot of pre-op testing, you can probably go from visit to surgery in a month. I did it in about 8 weeks with insurance. The pre-op testing can drag it out.

Depends almost entirely upon your surgeon. The program I'm pursuing requires three clearances (dietitian, nurse practitioner, and psychologist) and any ordered tests before even meeting with the surgeon.

I went through insurance. I had my consultation on January 18th and my surgery is scheduled for May 4th. The thing that took the longest to schedule and get the results back from was the sleep study. The time flew by fast and I still can't believe that in two weeks I will be getting sleeved. Good luck with your journey!

It took my just about 6 months. First appointment was late August and my surgery date was middle of February.
