April 22nd

I am scheduled for Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty, so I am am unsure of where I fit in on this forum as there really isn't a place for those of us having this procedure. I am sure there are not that many.

I do not have a pre-op diet other than Clear liquids the day before. Post-op it seems like the same as it is for sleeve surgery. I am very excited to have this done and at the same time worried about the general anesthesia I need to have, worried about the diet afterwards, worried that i will have to vomit and do damage to the sleeve. Sometimes my worries wake me up in the middle of the night.

How is everyone else feeling if you have not had your surgery yet?

I had all those fears pre-op. I had mine done on March 28th. I have never had aesthetic go so well. I usually react badly to general anesthetic but they did everything right. It is normal to have doubts and fears. Good luck
